Why this page exists
Clinton’s story.
Clinton is an Army veteran who came to us after the written exam had beaten him more than once. He didn’t need more content — he needed to know which domains were actually costing him points.
So that’s what we worked on, one-on-one — not more content, just the thinking the exam rewards. He passed, and in July he was hired as a firefighter recruit at his dream department.
That’s the whole reason this page exists. Being excellent at the work and struggling with the test are not the same problem, and the second one is fixable.

The VA reimburses your National Registry exam fee
This has nothing to do with anything we sell — it’s the fee you pay the National Registry to sit the exam. If you have GI Bill entitlement, the VA reimburses licensing and certification test fees using VA Form 22-0803. You pay up front and claim it back, up to $2,000 per test. You claim it directly through the VA, not through us — we are not a VA-approved education provider and don’t administer the benefit. We just think more veterans should know it exists.
