Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Path2Medic ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These Terms are a contract between you and Ibis SaaS Holdings, LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as "Path2Medic" (a registered fictitious name), located at 1395 Brickell Ave, STE 800, Miami, FL 33131 ("we," "us," or "our").

Privacy and optional troubleshooting recordings

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when providing the Service. We use Microsoft Clarity on standalone simulations, including forms accessed through partner academies, to help investigate bugs and improve usability. If you are 18 or older and choose Allow recording, Clarity can collect page interactions and technical usage information for session replay and heatmaps, with page text and input content masked. Microsoft's processing is described in its Privacy Statement.

Accepting these Terms does not itself give permission for optional recording. You may decline recording and still use your assessment, or withdraw permission through the simulation's Privacy choices. These choices do not prevent the essential processing of your answers, assessment progress, purchase verification, or report delivery. Do not submit real patient information. Nothing in these Terms waives your applicable privacy rights.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Path2Medic offers subscription plans and one-time purchases:

  • Subscription Plans: Subscriptions (EMT Prep, AEMT Prep, Paramedic Prep) are billed monthly, quarterly or yearly and auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. Each membership includes one Full-Length Simulation per calendar month.
  • One-Time Purchases: Courses and e-books are one-time purchases that provide permanent access to the purchased content.
  • Tutoring Sessions: Tutoring sessions are purchased individually and are non-transferable.
  • Full-Length NREMT Simulations: Simulations are one-time purchases that include access to the in-portal exam plus a personalized Readiness Report. Reports are generated automatically and delivered by email, typically within minutes of when you submit the exam.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are listed in USD and may be updated with advance notice.

4. The Path2Medic Apps (iOS and Android)

  • Availability: The Path2Medic mobile apps are made available through Apple's App Store and Google Play. Downloading and using the apps may also be governed by the terms and policies of those stores, and you need an Apple ID or Google account for purchases and downloads from them.
  • Accounts and purchases: The apps are for signed-in Path2Medic members. Accounts, memberships and other purchases are made on path2medic.com — purchases are not offered inside the apps, and the apps provide access to what your account already includes.
  • Deleting your account: You can delete your Path2Medic account from the app's Account tab, from your account page, or at path2medic.com/delete-account, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Apple: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple is not responsible for the Path2Medic iOS app. You acknowledge that Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance and support services for the app. In any claim relating to the iOS app, your exclusive remedy (if any) is against us, not Apple. Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms as they relate to the iOS app, and may enforce them against you as if they were a party.
  • Google: The Android app's use is also subject to Google Play's terms, and Google may remove the app from your device in limited circumstances (for example, for policy violations or security reasons).

5. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Subscription Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access until then.
  • Subscription Refunds: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on new subscriptions. Contact us within 30 days of your initial purchase for a full refund.
  • Digital Products (E-Books): E-books and courses are non-refundable once delivered, as they are digital products available for immediate download.
  • Tutoring Sessions: Before you take the Simulation pre-test, a tutoring session may be rescheduled or cancelled for a full refund with at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled session start time. Once you take the pre-test, your tutoring purchase is non-refundable, in whole or in part, because your personalized pre-test analysis and session preparation are then in production. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session, reschedules requested within 24 hours, and no-shows are non-refundable. Sessions are non-transferable.
  • Simulations: Simulations are fully refundable before you submit the exam in your portal. Once you submit the exam, the purchase is non-refundable because your Readiness Report is then in production. Your Readiness Report is generated automatically and delivered by email, typically within minutes of when you submit the exam. If delivery exceeds 24 hours, you may request a full refund or accept an extended turnaround at no additional charge as your sole and exclusive remedy.

6. Content Ownership and Intellectual Property

All content on Path2Medic, including but not limited to practice questions, exam materials, e-books, study guides, ECG strip images, and educational content, is the intellectual property of Path2Medic and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission. Your subscription or purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to access and use the content for your own educational purposes only.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms of Service.
  • Share your account credentials with others.
  • Attempt to copy, redistribute, or resell our content.
  • Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract content from the platform.

If your account is terminated for a violation, you will not be entitled to a refund for any remaining subscription period.

You may also delete your own account at any time from the app, your account page, or path2medic.com/delete-account. Deleting your account cancels any live subscription immediately and removes your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy; it is separate from cancelling a subscription, which keeps your account and saved history.

8. Disclaimer

Path2Medic is an educational tool designed to help you prepare for the NREMT exam. We do not guarantee that using our platform will result in passing the NREMT or any other certification exam. Exam outcomes depend on many factors including your study habits, prior knowledge, and test-day performance. Readiness Reports are intended for self-study guidance only and do not constitute professional certification advice, predict NREMT outcomes, or replace formal review courses. NREMT® is a registered trademark of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, which neither endorses nor is affiliated with Path2Medic. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Path2Medic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts. Either party may bring a qualifying claim in any small-claims court of competent jurisdiction in lieu of the foregoing.

11. Miscellaneous

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Ibis SaaS Holdings, LLC regarding the Service and supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements relating to the same subject matter. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign these Terms to any successor or affiliate without notice.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
